Here's a simple, clean pine extra-wide bench pin I make carefully by hand for use with your jeweler's saw or for bracing things
against on your bench front. Just clamp with any G-clamp or bar clamp and you have a super wide surface that will accommodate larger
objects to saw, file or alter.

Most jewelry-store bench pins lack a wide enough 'V' to allow a ring clamp or gripping plier to fit inside, which is why I offer them here. This wide opening allows you to hold a ring clamp or plier firmly in the 'V' for cutting jump-rings, sanding, shaping or filing. Tiny 'V' cuts in the tips allow wire to be held still for filing or shaping.
